Dropper Tier List

Droppers add items. Upgraders multiply those items. The make money guide is the prose version of this list. Ranks assume the pad sits on a running conveyor, not in a storage corner. Prices from HUD captures: Dropper 2 ~$150, Dropper 3 ~$500, Golden Upgrader 2 ~$15, Upgrader 2 ~$500, Golden Upgrader 1 sometimes 25 Robux. Flappy Bit can change a digit. Trust the floating price.

S tier

Golden Upgrader (cash). Fifteen dollars that raise every future dropper. Buy on sight. Put it near the start of the belt so new droppers inherit it.

Next-area conveyor. Not a dropper, but it outranks extra starter droppers. New belts spit higher-value junk. Expand raft.

First extra dropper (Dropper 2). Turns a demo hose into a tycoon. S on pad one, A once you already have three droppers and a locked new belt.

A tier

Dropper 3 (~$500). Correct purchase with Shark code cash. Codes.

Upgrader 2 (~$500). After at least one Golden pad exists. Do not stack five upgraders on zero droppers.

Golden Upgrader (tiny Robux). If 25 Robux would otherwise buy a face, buy the pad. If it would buy Double Cash, buy Double Cash. Gamepasses.

Ad dropper (67 Dropper FREE, similar). A during Winter 2x or right before you empty the collector. B as a play pattern — you cannot plan a tycoon on ads.

B tier

Extra droppers on a finished belt while you save for the next area. Fine if the new belt is still locked. B, not S.

Diamond / premium droppers. Loud, high value, often Robux or late buttons. B after two belts, D as a first shop click.

Speedy Droppers / Very Speedy Droppers. These have existed as passes and have also sat off-sale. When live, B for long AFK-in-server sessions. Unranked when the product is off.

C tier

Cosmetic blockers. Building a hot tub so the belt path weaves. C because it costs income even if the prop was cheap.

Upgrader-only belts. Five gold plates, one dying dropper. Looks “optimized,” prints slowly. C until you add volume.

D tier

Tenth starter dropper while the next conveyor button is visible.

Buying a Motor Boat instead of Dropper 3. The boat list is here. The mistake is still D.

Scripts that spawn infinite droppers. Ban risk. Scripts.

Placement rules that beat a letter

  1. Value pads at the spawn end.
  2. Droppers behind them.
  3. Collector inboard so you actually bank the upgraded items.
  4. Leave a walking lane. Items that jam against a mansion wall are silent D-tier.
  5. After Tsunami, walk the belt. Waves stall junk. Weather.

Rebirth

Cash droppers reset. Robux pads and passes stay. Your second-run S-tier is still “buy the $15 gold plate first.” Auto Build can repurchase in a stupid order — watch it on run two or turn it off until the gold plates are down. Rebirth.

Session rule

If a pad costs less than 10% of your cash and it is an upgrader or a new dropper on a hungry belt, it is S for the next 30 seconds. If it costs more than the next conveyor, it is D even if the model is diamond-plated. That is the whole list.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers players actually search for in Raft Tycoon.

Should I buy droppers or upgraders first?

Cheap Golden Upgraders first, then Dropper 2 and 3. Volume after value.

Are ad droppers worth it?

Yes as a burst during Winter or before you cash the ATM. No as your only plan.

Do droppers reset on rebirth?

Cash ones yes. Robux pads and passes stay. Rebuild gold plates first.

Why is a new conveyor ranked above more droppers?

Later belts drop higher-value items. A fresh hose beats a tenth copy of the starter food.
