Gifts spawn on the mansion, balconies, trees, and islands. Claim them, then return to the collector.
Update 7’s winter window added a present hunt: gift boxes scattered on your raft and around the map. A HUD counter often starts around 14 and can climb as more boxes spawn after you claim the first ones. This page is how to sweep them without turning a tycoon session into a hide-and-seek speedrun. What a present is
A present is a clickable gift prop. Claim it for cash or a small seasonal lump. It is not a dropper. It does not persist as a belt upgrade. After the event window, leftover boxes may despawn. Treat the hunt as timed extra income, like Winter’s 10-minute 2x, not like a second conveyor.
Daily Rewards and the Like Chest on the mansion deck are not the hunt. Those login sparkles sit next to Settings / Shop / Rebirth and reset on their own clock. How to play covers those. Presents are the ones you walk the map for.
Sweep order that does not starve the belt
- Empty the collector. If Dropper 3 is still locked, buy that first. Make money.
- Walk your own raft: starter plates, mansion floors, stairs, balcony, helipad lip, dock. Recaps show gifts on extra floors and next to trees you bought as decor.
- If the counter is still short, spawn the Jetski and check nearby islands — volcano rim, iceberg shelves, tropical trees.
- Come home. Empty the ATM again. Do not start Winter until you are back on the pad.
A video sweep of one session found boxes labelled 1 through 19 even though the UI said 14. The counter can lag or count a first claim before extra spawns. Keep hunting until the map is quiet, then stop. There is no secret 50th gift that unlocks rebirth.
Where they actually sit
On the pad: ground floor near droppers, next to a tree prop, on a second or third mansion floor, on a balcony, by the dock, sometimes next to Daily Rewards so you click the wrong sparkle. Walk a rectangle, then climb. Expand raft height helps here the same way it helps in a Tsunami.
On the water: island chests and hunt gifts blur together. If it looks like a wrapped box, claim it. If it looks like a regular loot chest on volcano rock, it is still worth the click, then leave.
Other players’ rafts. The spawn portal lets you visit. Their presents are not yours. Do not portal-tour for a hunt. You earn nothing and you miss your own collector.
Weather and sharks during a hunt
Gifts near the rim are how people fall in. Sword on, inboard path, no emotes on the last plank. If Tsunami hits mid-hunt, climb, wait, then resume. A wave does not care that you were at 12/14. Sharks and weather.
When to ignore the hunt
- You have not redeemed codes yet.
- Golden Upgrader pads are still unbought.
- Winter is ticking and you are not standing next to the ATM.
- You are about to rebirth. Presents on a raft you are about to reset are a last-minute bonus at best.
