Raft Tycoon Survive Sharks and Weather

Raft Tycoon is a tycoon first, but the ocean is not wallpaper. Sharks eat anyone who walks off a plate. Tsunamis punish rafts with no height. Tornadoes and rainstorms wreck visibility and race lines. This page is how to keep the money loop running without feeding the water. Pair it with expand raft because height is a building choice, not a weather setting.

Sharks

Sharks spawn in the water around every pad. They will:

• Attack you immediately if you fall in.
• Harass the rim while you place droppers.
• Turn a “quick swim for a barrel” into a respawn.

Stay inboard. Build a rectangle of plates with droppers in the middle, not on the last plank. The getting started hour dies here more than on cash.

Carry a sword. Buy the cheap cash sword when it appears. Golden Sword is a Robux pass for the same job with more swagger. Two or three clicks usually break aggro. Rocket Launcher has existed as an off-sale pass; do not wait for it.

Get out fast. Swim to any plate — yours, a neighbour’s, a dock lip. Long swims lose. If you fell during a race, spawn the hull again from the boat menu instead of swimming the track.

Sharks are not a boss. They are a reason to stop emoting on the rim.

Tsunami

The centre-top banner flips to a Tsunami warning. That is the only weather that should cancel a dropper-shopping trip.

1. Stop placing buttons.
2. Sprint (Shift on PC, stick on mobile) to the highest floor you own.
3. Mansion, helipad lip, or a dedicated tall plate — anything above the wave.
4. Wait until the banner returns to Sunny (or at least until the water stops being a wall).
5. Drop down, empty the collector, check for stuck belt items.

A starter raft with one plate has no high floor. That is why the first expansion is not a decoration budget. Build vertical early even if it looks ugly. Players who ignore the warning get shoved, lose position, and sometimes watch items stall.

If you are in a boat when the warning hits, abandon the lap. A 75-knot Jetski does not outrun a scripted wave. Dock, climb, restart the race later.

Other weather

Sunny. Default. Play the loop.

Rainstorms. Visibility drops. Belts still pay. Walk the collector carefully; the rim is easier to miss.

Tornadoes. Dramatic, usually not a wipe if you stay on plates. Pause races. Do not chase the funnel for clips.

Bloodmoon-style lighting has shown up in recaps and screenshots. Treat it as atmosphere plus maybe extra spawns. Keep the sword out and the collector on a short walk.

November 2025 onward added more weather variety on top of the older tsunami. The tycoon loop did not change. Weather is a schedule overlay, not a new genre.

Building for survival without stalling income

• Put the collector one plate in from the water.
• Put the Tsunami climb (mansion stair or a tall dummy plate) in the centre so every belt is a short sprint.
• Railings help fat-fingered mobile thumbs. Buy them after Dropper 3, not before.
• Helipad is late height plus flex. It is a worse first climb than a simple two-storey mansion.
• Do not snake plates into a pier. Piers are shark buffet and a longer Tsunami run.

During Winter 2x and friend bonuses

When Winter is ticking or three friends are in the server, people greed the rim for extra droppers. That is how 2x windows die in the water. Place the pad, step inboard, empty the ATM. Sharks do not respect multipliers.

Scripts that advertise Anti Tsunami, walk-on-water, or Shark ESP exist on the scripts hub. They are a ban conversation, not a weather strategy. Climbing is free.

Quick recovery checklist

Fell in: click shark, swim to nearest plate, eat a sword swing, walk collector.
Tsunami banner: climb, wait, inspect belts.
Tornado: pause race, stay on wood.
Night / blood moon: sword out, no rim building.
After any event: confirm droppers still firing, then return to the how to play loop.
