Raft Tycoon Review

Raft Tycoon is a Flappy Bit Games Roblox tycoon that launched on 13 January 2025. You claim a wooden pad, buy droppers, cash an ATM, expand into a mansion, race a Jetski, and rebirth for a permanent multiplier. Sharks and tsunamis sit on top so you cannot fully AFK on the rim. What it actually is

It is not the Steam survival game Raft. There is no hunger meter, no story island campaign, no hook for flotsam. Buttons print income. That will bore people who wanted a survival sim and delight people who wanted a tycoon with a nicer skybox than a factory floor.

The loop is honest. Conveyors pay. New area belts pay more. Boat races pay during downtime. Codes pay once. Rebirth pays forever after you finish the first raft. Friend bonus is 10% each on a 10-player server. None of that is hidden behind a lore dump.

Who should play

Play if you like tycoons, short sessions (auto-save is on), and a reason to invite two friends. The Jetski race is a better break than most tycoon “minigames.” Islands and the present hunt give a map to poke without a new genre.

Skip if you wanted crafting, PvP, or a huge RPG inventory. There is a sword for sharks and that is the combat. Gamepasses exist; the pad works without them. If you hate walking to an ATM, you will either buy Auto Collect or bounce. That walk is the game.

F2P versus Robux

Free path: codes (Winter, Shark, Freemoney, 2025, Volcano as of the 2026 trackers we trust), droppers, cash boats, races, friends. That is enough to finish a raft and rebirth. Gamepasses compress time. Double Cash is the only pass that changes the math. Auto Collect is comfort. Auto Build is a veteran skip. Golden Yacht is a screenshot. A 24-hour YouTube movie spending 599 Robux on 2x is entertainment, not a review score.

If you will spend once, spend on Double Cash during a sale, then stop. Helicopters do not skip Tsunami. Tier list.

Friction that is real

• Sharks. Falling in is a slap, not a boss. Stay inboard. Weather.
• Tsunami. Flat rafts get punished. Height is a mechanic, not a flex. Expand.

• Code confusion. The Roblox description still prints FLAPPY / SEASIDE / CODECASH while 2026 trackers mark them expired. Redeem once, then use the live table.

Average session length on tracker snapshots sat around 12 minutes. That matches the design: empty ATM, buy a pad, one race, log out. You can also sit for an hour and max a floor. Both are valid. The game does not demand a raid night.

Verdict

Raft Tycoon is a good Roblox tycoon with a better toybox than the genre average: weather, a real dock, islands, a hunt, and a rebirth that is not a slap in the face if you finish the first raft. It is not a survival masterpiece and it is not paywalled. Start free, invite a friend, buy gold upgraders, ignore the yacht. If that loop sounds fun, click Play. If you wanted to craft a hook and fight a shark boss for 40 hours, this is the wrong ocean.
