How to Play Raft Tycoon

Raft Tycoon is not a survival crafter like the Steam game Raft. It is a Roblox tycoon with a survival skin. You do not punch trees for a campaign. You buy buttons that spawn income machines, then you spend that income on a bigger island until Flappy Bit lets you rebirth. This page is the systems map. The core loop

1. Claim a tycoon pad on a 10-player ocean server.
2. Droppers spawn items onto a conveyor.
3. Upgraders raise the value of items that pass through.
4. The collector / ATM banks the sale so you can walk once instead of chasing every bill.
5. Expand plates to unlock more belts, a mansion, a dock, a helipad.
6. Races convert spare minutes into cash.
7. Rebirth resets the plates, keeps Robux purchases, and adds a permanent income buff (about +50% after the first completed raft).

If any step is skipped, the next step feels expensive. Players who buy a Catamaran before a second conveyor are playing a boat game on top of a starved tycoon.

Conveyors, droppers, upgraders

Each raft area can host a belt. Newer belts drop higher-value junk (food, jello, late-game gimmick items). That is why unlocking a new area is usually worth more than fully stacking the starter belt with a tenth dropper.

Droppers add volume. Upgraders add value. Put value pads near the start of the belt so every extra dropper behind them inherits the upgrade. Golden Upgraders are often tiny cash or Robux prices; they sit in S tier on the dropper tier list. Ad pads such as a “67 Dropper FREE (Ad)” are optional volume. Watch the ad if you need a burst, then go back to permanent buttons.

Walk the belt every few minutes. Stuck items are silent income loss. The controls page lists the interact key if a button does not fire on click.

ATM and daily extras

Collectors sit on the deck as green cash machines. Empty them. Auto Collect (a gamepass) only removes the walk; it does not raise item value.

Around the mansion you will also see Daily Rewards chests (sometimes +$100K for an ad), Like Chest (+$10,000), and a Starter Pack bundle. Those are side income. They do not replace Shark code cash or a second conveyor. Claim them on login, then ignore the sparkle until the next reset.

Boat dock and races

Building the dock unlocks water races on premade checkpoint tracks. The free Jetski is enough to learn a lap. Cash boats from the in-game boat menu:

• Motor Boat $250,000
• Catamaran $2.5M
• Rescue Boat $25M
• Fishing Yacht $40M
• Ice Breaker (late)

Robux hulls such as Golden Yacht sit in the same menu. Racing is downtime cash, not a replacement belt. See boat races and the boat catalog.

Spawn portal

The portal sends you to the lobby so you can visit other players’ rafts. Use it to steal layout ideas: where they put upgraders, how high the tsunami floor is, whether they snake plates or build a rectangle. Then leave. You earn nothing in someone else’s tycoon.

Friends, passes, scripts

Each friend in the server adds 10% income. That bonus stacks with rebirth multipliers and with Winter / Double Cash. Filling even three of the ten slots is a bigger jump than most mid-game droppers.

Passes (Double Cash, Auto Collect, Auto Build, Run Boost, Jump Boost, vehicle packs) are optional time savers. Ranked on the gamepass page and the pass tier list. Scripts that auto-buy or inf-money are a ban risk; they are documented, not recommended, on scripts.

Weather and sharks sit on the same loop

Sunny is the default banner. Tsunami is the one that deletes a lazy player. Climb. Tornadoes and rainstorms are disruption. A sword is for sharks in the water, not for PvP. What “finished” means

You are ready to rebirth when the first raft’s buttons are bought, you have felt a Tsunami, and you understand why the second belt out-earned the first. You are not ready because a YouTube thumbnail showed a golden ferry. Press Rebirth with the rebirth checklist open so you do not reset a half-built dock by accident.

Play sessions can be short because auto-save is on. Come back, empty the collector, redeem any new codes, and continue the same loop. That is how to play Raft Tycoon.
